The one where we lost a friend

Like so many others, I reacted with grief and shock upon hearing of the death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry. Of course, he was so much more than his character on “Friends,” but to the multitude of the world he was and always will be Chandler Bing, or Miss Chanandler Bong.
Friends premiered when I was almost 19 years old and ran through the entirety of my 20s. It was such a huge part of my life, and I always loved the sarcasm and wit and humor that Matthew Perry brought to the show. It also didn’t hurt that I had a major crush on him.
He overcame so much in his life, and that should be remembered along with his talent. Goodbye, Chandler Bing. No more J-Man & C. Give Gunther our love.
