The Gazette coarsens the discourse

Why would any responsible newspaper deign to print an opinion piece which begins: 'The depraved totalitarians, nefarious barbarians, two-bit gangsters, odious scoundrels, and bigoted scum who run the United Nations ...”?
Well, that's how David Harsanyi of the National Review began his scathing Feb. 24 piece criticizing U.N. support for the Palestinian people. Surely there are more rational expositors of Harsanyi's position who could have been be found.
Instead, The Gazette decided to add to the coarsening of our society. All the news that's fit to print? Not a consideration, evidently, in this newspaper.
