The country is going in the wrong direction

Everyday brings a new challenge to say “I’m a proud American.” Our Iowa representatives in Washington should be ashamed of themselves for backing our so called president on everything, from approving unqualified people to positions they know nothing about, to allowing Musk associates to see our private information that’s supposed to be protected from outsiders.
Everyday he comes up with a new “insane” idea. I thought he was going to end the war with Ukraine and Russia in 24 hours, it’s been 3 weeks and it’s still going on, food prices were going to go down, both campaign promises.
Mariannette Miller-Meeks has joined Trump in suing the Register for the poll publication before the election. Why would they do this? They both won, get over it.
Now, moving on to our state of Iowa representatives, why is the casino drama more important than helping the homeless find food and shelter? And then there’s our governor that keeps coming up with insane ideas about education.
Our country is going down, the wrong direction. I worry about what kind of world our grandchildren are coming into and hope they can survive all this craziness, as well as ourselves. It’s been such a turmoil for three weeks. GOD BLESS America.
