The choir kids in Marion are all right

A couple weeks ago, I had the honor of serving hundreds of choir students at Marion High School. If I recall correctly, they were from Clear Creek Amana, Mount Vernon, Linn-Mar and Marion Independent.
In my 81 years, I've served thousands of children of all ages in schools and churches. Never have I seen more polite, respectful behavior. Without exception, it was 'please, thank you,” smiles and eye contact.
I am so grateful for our four hours together. Of course, their voices were just icing on the cake.
To the TV stations and journalists who were not there - sorry, folks, your loss.
