Thank you, Christmas Angel

While out shopping, my daughter, age 4, found a Princess Tiana doll that she loved. Like many other parents do, I explained that we couldn't buy it now, but we could put the doll on her wish list. My daughter gripped the doll and continued to carry her around the store, overjoyed at her find!
My mom and I were trying to think of a way we could distract her during the checkout process so we could buy the doll for her for Christmas. A lady we didn't know approached and asked if she could purchase the doll for my little girl. Feeling almost amazed at this random act of kindness, I graciously accepted her offer to extend the sometimes forgotten gift of giving!
My mother and I, with tears in our eyes, hugged the lady and thanked her for her selflessness. The lady we've since been calling our Christmas Angel, bid us a Merry Christmas, and went on her way.
I challenge us all to remember the way we reflect on the lives of others, not only during Christmas, but every day! Thanks again to our Christmas Angel!
