Thank the city and state for the spring cleanup

I want to thank the people the city and state have engaged in litter control this spring. They're very appreciated, deservedly so. While I will do trash cleanup in places they don't, their work is really higher-profile and contributes to an improved appearance after winter has helped cover this garbage. Jeff Pomeranz from the city and Cathy Cutler from IDOT need to be commended for devoting resources to this.
Make it a habit of your own to limit any loose trash coming from you or things you control. Then, pick up some litter when you see it, knowing there aren't enough people doing that regularly to keep pace with an ongoing challenge. Our little corner of the world thanks you as do I.
