Thank cameras for an enjoyable C.R. drive

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to travel both directions through Cedar Rapids destined for The Eastern Iowa Airport. We are happy to report it was enjoyable. No doubt due to traffic cameras assisting along the way. It was quite obvious (for almost all the traffic) speed signs were being closely observed. Drivers with a heavier foot no doubt will learn about it later.
It's difficult to understand those that prefer being stopped by traffic officers or just hope to skate through. Much more efficient this way and an income stream to help lower other city costs. Crime doesn't pay---or does it in this case? Thanks Cedar Rapids for a safe trip.
