On Oct. 8 I sent this to Congresswoman Miller-Meeks: "Please resign. Let the voters in Iowa's 1st Congressional District elect someone who puts the best interests of Iowans and the country first."
Congresswoman Miller-Meeks' response was quick: "Thank you for contacting me requesting a town hall or a public forum. Your feedback, ideas, and concerns are essential to ensuring that my work in Washington reflects the needs and values of the people of Iowa."
The last thing the congresswoman is doing is working for the needs and values of Iowans. I urge everyone to ask Congresswoman Miller-Meeks to resign. Let us elect someone in a special election who truly will work for Iowans.
