Tea Party does not represent majority of Americans

I found your front page article, “Iowa results could foreshadow elements of 2012,” quite interesting. I hope Gary Covington is correct in stating that “I think there's fairly strong momentum for Republicans in Iowa, but it's not distinctively ‘tea party' in nature.”
I would ask the leaders of the Tea Party to give me the statistics. What percent of your members come from the poor or lower middle class? What percent of people of color are members of the Tea Party? What percent of your members are women who want full rights?
Since the group mentioned above represent the majority of Americans, I hope that Iowans do not think that the Tea Party represents the majority of Americans.
