Taxpayers on the hook for ag bailout

The Gazette’s Dec. 9 headline “Trump is giving U. S. farmers $12B in aid” is grossly incorrect. Trump’s policies have devasted agricultural markets and damaged the economy. So, let us be very clear, it is the American taxpayer that is on the hook for the $12 billion bailout.
