Tammy Wynette drowned out by politics
Nov. 21, 2022 6:00 am
It was a warm, sunny early morning in July. I wanted to start the day listening to a beautiful song.
I sat down in front of my computer and googled one of my all-time favorites--Tammy Wynette singing "Don't Touch Me, Unless You Love Me".
I sat back and closed my eyes, but the first thing I heard was someone yelling "Christina Bohannan is liar!"
I was horrified. I hit the mute button, and very slowly calmed down. But I didn't try to listen to that song again that morning, and I have not been able to listen to that song since that day.
Now that the election is behind us, and the political advertising is done for the year, I would very much appreciate it if Congresswoman Miller-Meeks, or one of her staffers, contacts me and tells me what exactly Christina Bohannan was lying about, and why was it necessary to shout in my ear while I was trying to listen to Tammy Wynette's beautiful voice on a warm, sunny morning in July.
