Taking a look at the post-Obamacare future

Because of the overwhelming success of Obamacare in reforming health insurance, the president, in his last year in office (2016), has decided to ask Congress to enact similar laws to regulate the life insurance industry. Details of the plan are being leaked to the press.
First: In applying for coverage, no questions regarding health will be permitted. Pre-existing conditions will not be allowed as a factor, up to and including people on life support, those most in need of life insurance.
Second: All applicants will be charged the same premium. Age discrimination will not be allowed.
Third: Term insurance will be prohibited. Studies have revealed some of the devious practices of life insurance companies, such as selling 10-year term policies to people with life expectancies of 12 years.
Fourth: Noting that some have died without life insurance, all people more than 26 will be required to have at least a $10,000 life insurance policy or pay a penalty. Lifeaid, an agency similar to Medicaid, will be formed to provide funds for those unable to pay.
The administration estimates that about 25,000 new auditors, regulators, investigators, IRS agents and assorted bureaucrats will be required to enforce the law.
Those Republicans in Congress have been told that any subsequent changes that may be needed will not require further legislation. The president will decide all necessary modifications.
