Take a step back and look at our actions

How many speakers in this day and age would be asked to return if they spoke on intellectual subjects and flowered their phrases with profanities? Many books today add the “grossness,” which needn't be expressed.
Aren't we losing it? TV, Internet games and movies are other examples of how our society is now accepting things.
Yes, the Second Amendment gives U.S. citizens gun rights, but historically, muskets and single shots were the only guns available to local citizenry. We are dumbfounded that violence is played out in real life. What about those video games that shamelessly display killing, violence, stealing? Some people are unable to extract the make-believe from the actual thing.
Youths drive like they are on a speedway. Texting, diversion of the job at hand should be disallowed, but again, if adults do it, why shouldn't they (upcoming generation)?
Parents and other adults all are responsible ... for teaching courtesy when with others. Amen.
