Swanson cares about student success

On Sept. 10, please vote to re-elect John Swanson to the Kirkwood Community College board of trustees. I met Swanson when I was an instructor at Kirkwood's Resource Center. His enthusiasm and the dedication he brings to his board responsibilities were apparent. His questions were intelligent and informed. I could see that he wanted to provide the resources necessary to help students succeed.
His attendance at board meetings is excellent. He attends many student, alumni and faculty events. In addition, he volunteers in the community for United Way. With his re-election to the board, Kirkwood will continue to be a world class community college.
