Support veteran-owned businesses

Recently, I have been reflecting on my journey from my time in service to full-time business owner traveling the state in my coffee food bus. I started the Traveling Bean Co. with a mission to inspire and empower.

During these uncertain economic times, veterans need our support more than ever. I'm encouraged that the unemployment rate for veterans is holding steady at 2.7 percent. However, that could change overnight. That’s why it’s critical to support veteran-owned businesses and those that make a point to hire veterans. It’s easy for Iowans to support small businesses from the comfort of their homes, including veteran owned businesses through Facebook and Instagram Shops.

I encourage Iowans to support our veterans who have given so much to us and don’t ask for much in return.
