Support teachers, who are on the front line

It has become the norm to blame teachers for not educating our children.
If there is a fault anywhere, there is plenty to go around, from parents who send their children to school with no sense of responsibility or respect for themselves or others.
Their children create a disruption in the classroom that hinders the education of everyone in the room. The powers that be (parents, elected officials, school boards and supervisors) have taken away a teacher's ability to keep order in the classroom. It is not the teacher's job to be a disciplinarian, but they are handed the job with their hands tied.
We have industry in this country that imports talent from China and India because they can't find enough here. This is not the teachers' fault. The blame for this goes to administration. Other countries have longer school hours and years and put more effort into education. We are in danger of losing our standing as the leading nation in the world.
The military, the politicians and the super rich will not save us from decline, but education will and teachers are the troops in the front line. Teachers deserve our support and respect instead of blaming them for everyone else's shortcomings.
