Support domestic energy companies

Personally and politically we must support U.S. employers and critical U.S. industries if we are to remain a strong nation.
In an increasingly competitive global economy, America must direct its focus toward building upon domestic resources.
By utilization of our country's energy sector over seeking new foreign sources, we are taking advantage of the resources here and building a platform on which to create jobs.
We must start somewhere and we must protect and promote the domestic energy companies, which bolster our economy and security.
Should President Barack Obama's administration go forth with tax reforms - significant increases - on our oil and natural gas industry, we will be looking at higher energy costs to Americans.
The president's effort should be spent creating jobs and making these resources available to Americans. However, the administration's plan will force domestic energy companies to accommodate for the increase in taxes by pressing higher gas and energy prices.
As a project management professional, I believe it is critical to educate Americans on policy issues that will have a large impact on everyday living.
America should be supporting domestic energy rather than placing further restrictions on oil and natural gas. We should not place ourselves at a competitive disadvantage to foreign energy companies.
Let's support domestic energy companies as they power our great country and compete with a wide variety of foreign energy interests that do not always have America's best interests in mind.
Supporting our energy companies supports continued job creation and reduced dependency on foreign oil.
