Support candidates who represent all Iowans

After Joe Biden performed a selfless and patriotic act by withdrawing from the election and passing the baton to Kamala Harris, we have seen a refreshing level of enthusiasm and interest in the race for president. The massive swell of support, contributions and new volunteers has been remarkable.
Our elected officials at the federal level continue to support the attack on rights of the American people.
In Iowa, our elected governor has diminished the quality of Iowa’s public education system and consolidated power in her office by appointing department and agency heads that serve at her pleasure.
The elected members of the Iowa House and Senate have continually attacked the rights of Iowans to vote, women’s right to make her own health care choices, protections for our environment, protection for our teenage workers and loosened regulations on companies. They seem to act not in the general interest of the state but more often on the whims of the governor and demands of large donors and corporations.
These people are elected and serve at the pleasure of the voters. Iowans should join the large number of people across the country that are beginning to realize that individual voters can make a difference by committing to vote, making small donations, researching the voting record of their representatives and supporting candidates who will support the collective interest of all Iowans.
It is our republic. Let’s do all we can to keep it.
Elections matter! Vote!
