Super Bowl ad didn’t warrant attacking

It is interesting how perspective obscures vision. During the Super Bowl, I observed an advertisement that showed a loving mom and her adult son enjoying each other's company while illustrating the mom's resilience. As the mother was trying to tell their story, the son playfully tackled the mom, who bounced back up and giggled at his mischievousness while the son put his arm around his mother's shoulders.
The same advertisement was seen differently by liberal women's groups who had attacked the ad sight unseen because it was sponsored by Focus on the Family. Since the ad mentioned that “Timmy's” survival was a miracle but made no mention of the fact that the mother was told to have an abortion, these groups had to find another reason to justify their previous denouncement of the television spot.
They decided to claim the playful tackle was an example of violence toward women. These women have evidently not had a close relationship with athletic sons.
