Student thankful for tuition freeze

I came to the University of Iowa because of its great academic programs and all of the opportunities. I'm a junior economics and Spanish major.
One reason that I have been able to continue my education at the UI is because of the tuition freeze for this school year. Thank you so much to my hometown legislators, Sen. Robert Hogg and Rep. Tyler Olson, for supporting the tuition freeze this past legislative session. Their support has kept my
tuition rate at the UI affordable.
With my three siblings - another at the UI and one at Claremont McKenna - my entire family could not be happier at keeping the state's public universities affordable. I am so proud of the bipartisanship and leadership that made it possible.
