I am writing to express my strong support for Jenny Struthers, who is running for Coralville City Council. I have known Jenny for more than ten years and have had the privilege of working alongside her on numerous fundraising efforts, committees, and PTO executive boards. In every setting, Jenny stands out as a hard worker, a thoughtful leader, and someone who approaches every commitment with integrity, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
Jenny’s background uniquely positions her to serve Coralville well. Her law degree and MBA have given her the tools to analyze complex issues, make informed decisions, and balance competing priorities — skills that are essential for guiding a growing city. Beyond her professional qualifications, Jenny’s extensive experience working with our schools in various roles as well as her community involvement have given her a deep understanding of what makes a community thrive: strong partnerships between the city, families, and schools.
Coralville is at an exciting point in its development, and I am confident that Jenny will bring a balanced, forward-thinking approach to fostering smart and sustainable growth. Jenny’s proven record of community involvement and collaborative leadership make her exactly the kind of voice we need on the City Council.
I wholeheartedly support Jenny Struthers and encourage you to do the same.
