Stop blaming Republicans for troubles
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 6, 2013 11:44 am
What is it with people who constantly blame the Republicans for the troubles in Washington? You don't give Big Brother Barack enough credit. Pay attention to what the president actually says.
A letter recently criticized the Tea Party for disrespect. With some few exceptions, it's the Democrats from the president on down who constantly trash their opponents with name callings and accusations. Truth be damned.
The president recently said the Republicans want to run the government by crisis. But everybody knows, or would if they're paying attention, that “never let a crisis go to waste” was the Golden Rule of Rahm Emanuel, Obama's main man, through the campaign and first term as president. They have followed this advice from day one. They turn it around and accuse their opponents of their own bad actions.
