Stop and listen to authorities

To the editor:
One question and one comment for today's youth: 'Where did you learn that when a cop tells you to do something - start, stop or turn - that it is instead an invitation to argue, discuss, and negotiate the situation?” Too many of you are dying to learn the correct answer.
