Start telling truth about Obamacare
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 30, 2013 12:05 pm
Military acronyms apply to the latest government effort. Three years to successfully roll out Obamacare? The passing of the law without thinking it through or even reading the bill: SNAFU (situation normal all fouled up). The rollout of the website: FUBAR (fouled up beyond all recognition). The first few days/weeks of trying to signup: TARFUN (things are really fouled up now). And, when the waiver ends for big corporations: BOHICA (say bo he ka - bend over, here it comes again).
If it weren't so tragic for people losing the care they have grown to depend on, it would be funny. It is laudable to try to provide affordable care for all, but this does not seem to be happening. Kill the mandate, allow people to insure themselves for the risks they have and can afford.
Admit the error, change the law and/or start over. Mr. President, you must start telling the truth.
