To the editor:
It is critical we make a difference in this country. We have to stop getting involved in wars and battles we have no business getting involved in. We must share making a difference in our communities and fight the fight to make a community and share with others more often in life.
I have been an active community participant in political campaigns since my days at Washington High School in 1988 and have learned to grow with the candidates.
We can all stop the inner battles in the community and stop negativity and ignorance that causes major apathy. I would encourage us here in Iowa and our nation to stand up with people like Bernie Sanders and bring our country back to community and pride again.
In closing, we can reach out to organizations and spend time getting involved in our city and other towns around our nation. We need to stop ignoring others and stop the hatred and grow our communities again. It will make our nation at peace again and solve our deepest ruts in our lives as a nation.
