Stamats employees save ducklings, commended

Kudos to the employees of Stamats who rescued 10 ducklings from a storm drain on May 6. Apparently, mother duck led her babies across a storm grate with openings that the ducklings fell through as they followed her.
The grate could not be removed but there was a tunnel that connected this drain to another drain in a nearby parking lot that was removable. These people would not give up! Through their patience and perseverance, they were able to rescue all the ducklings. What a great feeling watching mama and her family walk away.
