Keep Polk Elementary School open and save our neighborhood. Show our children that their education is most important.
I have two children attending Polk. They both love Polk, have lots of friends and enjoy the year-round schedule. The staff makes the children feel important.
During the past three years, my daughter has been struggling with anxiety. The staff members help her out as much as they can and help her get through difficult days. My daughter needs Polk's staff, structure and year-round schedule.
We also need Polk because of its location. Many children at Polk walk to school. Keep Polk open for the children, the neighborhood and the families.
