Art Staed and I have been educators in the Cedar Rapids school system for many years. As teachers, we are acutely aware of the needs of our students. I know that Staed has a great concern for college education and training for Iowa's young graduates.
Staed also has these commitments from his experience as a small-business owner. He supports assistance for startup and maintenance of small businesses, making Iowa an appealing place to succeed. Clean, affordable energy and attention to the environment also will bring jobs and contribute to the overall economy and healthy lives of Iowa's citizens. In order to be competitive, sustainable jobs must be kept in Iowa, where all workers are compensated fairly for equal work.
Staed believes that our lives can be improved and enriched with his plans to address these important issues. This makes him the best choice for the Iowa House of Representatives District 66. A vote for Staed in November is a vote for a stronger Iowa.
