SPT Theater provides night of entertainment

On Feb. 22, my wife and I enjoyed dinner in the NewBo District and then walked over to the CSPS Hall where we attended SPT Theater's “Tales from the Writer's Room - Food for Thought.”
This was my second experience watching this incredibly talented group of artists. I enjoyed every second of the show (Main Course and Entrees) and I was not alone. The music and singing rocks your socks off and the acting competes with the best of improvisational theater anywhere. Audience participation, encouraged by the actors, draws hoots and shouts at the performers, and skits including commentary about their sponsors always get an instant laugh and more hoots.
The final scene, “Keep Calm and Carry On,” contained the most brilliant and poignant material about the “banquet of life.” The dialogue and song filled my soul.
