Sports model key to stopping COVID-19

So let's do a quick reality check for all our conservative sports fans who just cannot put two and two together to stop this virus.
Facts: The NBA season was incredible, less than 1 percent positive tests.
MLB finished with less than 2 percent positive for players and staff.
College Football is hanging in below 3 percent for most teams.
One reason and one reason only, folks - exactly what Trump and the MAGAs are ignoring - strict mitigation (isolation, minimal or no contact outside the team, masks, masks, masks).
We got to watch these games because these athletes sacrificed. They did what you can do. Suck it up for a lousy month. Drink at home, tell friends no to getting together. Mask up at work, lunch in small groups or alone at work, watch the Hawks at home, no bars, get outside with just immediate family.
The potentially great University of Iowa basketball team is isolating, and the season is hanging by a thread. If it's canceled because the coronavirus pandemic stays out of control, it is totally on the fake news, right-wing politicians and their followers.
