Spinks responsive on Marion council

Sometime back a person who once served on the Marion City Council announced she was running for that position again with the reason given that current council members do not seem to be attentive to their constituents.
That has not been my experience with Joe Spinks, our council member. Every time I have contacted him about a concern, he has either responded to me personally or informed me he sent my request to someone at Marion City Hall, and I always have gotten a response.
