Speed cameras will turn off visitors to C.R.
Oct. 12, 2010 12:03 am
I will wager that anyone who ever drove a vehicle violated some traffic law almost every time they got behind the wheel. Violations such as one mile per hour over the speed limit, forgetting to use turn signals, not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, and of course, the yellow light.
If car manufacturers could invent a computer to record all of these violations, it might satisfy lawmakers' never-ending need for money. Not.
What are out-of-state travelers going to remember and tell friends after getting bushwhacked by Iowa's speed cameras? Places not to visit next year while on vacation: Cedar Rapids. Iowa.
