Someone needs to stand up for the animals

I am writing on behalf of the innocent animals whose homes are being destroyed every day. There are for sale signs all over land that previously was untouched by humans. The voiceless need someone to stand up and ask if we're doing the right thing by taking away precious land they called home long before we lived here.
Deer, among other lovely wildlife, are being driven into residential areas, only to have homeowners complain about their plants being eaten by animals that have nowhere else to go. Honestly, how can we feel we have the right to keep building new housing developments and tearing down trees and ruining space occupied by raccoons, deer and other such animals all in the name of progress?
