Society condones murder with abortions

Most Christians, as well as Muslims, and people of the Jewish faith, profess belief in the Ten Commandments. Even those who do not believe that the Ten Commandments are the word of God, accept that at least some of the Commandments are a legitimate moral code for societal laws. As for the Commandment against committing murder, the majority of all people, whether religious or not, agree that murder is a grievous wrong.
How then can our enlightened, tolerant and loving society condone the murder of more than 57 million innocents since the passing of Roe vs Wade?
How can people believe that it is OK to murder an innocent baby because of the sins of the father? Why do people believe that one grievous wrong, such as a woman being raped, makes the second grievous wrong, having an abortion, the right thing to do?
Babies conceived in a loving monogamous relationship, in one-night stands, and in a violent act of rape all have the right to life. All the debate of when life begins is irrelevant.
The fact is, that if left alone, those joined cells will become a thinking, breathing, human being, capable of love.
Let us become a truly loving society. Abortion should only be considered when the life of the mother is in jeopardy.
