Small birds good for hunting, eating

I support dove hunting. When I was young (late 30s, early 40s), we made pot pie (potatoes, vegetables, etc.) with blackbirds. Using doves would be even better. Quail, snipe, rail are small too but they are good game birds also.
Shrimp are small and people eat them, too.
