Slockett has made it very easy to vote

Your April 6 editorial attacking Johnson County Auditor Tom Slockett shocks me. “Generally committed and competent?” He's the best county auditor and elections commissioner in the state and probably in the country.
As a Johnson County voter, I can vote as early as the law permits and I can vote at the grocery store or the library or the hospital, sometimes even at a high school sports event.
I have never heard of any place where voting is easier than in Johnson County and it is all due to Slockett's leadership. He does a superb job. Shouldn't you at least consider the quality of his job performance in assessing his candidacy?
