Slockett expects, receives best from staff

As a former deputy auditor in the Johnson County Auditor's Office for about eight years, I found Auditor Tom Slockett to be committed to making county government more accessible to the public.
He employs a highly qualified staff and challenges people to perform to the best of their ability to achieve quality service to the public.
I learned significantly from working in his office and regard that experience highly valuable in the development of my career. Slockett's employees are current with new and developing technology, and are not afraid of change, which are uncommon characteristics among many government offices.
