Intelligent actions have been evident and scattered throughout the world for tens of thousands of years and still affect us today. There aren’t any boundaries between countries and races when it comes to geniuses in all arts and sciences. People of various races who see and solve problems aren’t new things. For expansive amounts of time, arts, discoveries, and inventions happened in multiple places.
Talents and abilities have always been spread throughout the races, countries and continents. The exchange of objects and ideas between people of differing races and places continues to lead to more innovations. Not knowing about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
Skin color is the product of the ongoing interaction between evolution, human migration, genetics and the environment. Our very ancient ancestors may have had different skin tones. But skin color has zero impact on a person’s physical and mental abilities.
If I need a medical specialist for a complex treatment, I don’t care what the specialist’s skin color is. I do care about the skills, training, honesty and empathy. If my car and I are trapped in a deep ravine, I don’t care what my rescuers look like. I care about their sympathy and great abilities to safely extract me from a scary situation. Maybe I need a unique sign created. Why would I care about skin tone? I don’t. Does the artist have the vision, the artistic and collaborative skills needed?
There’s more to a book than its cover. Look inside and measure first.
