Shopping isn’t worth missing family time

Family is important to most of us. All the stores that stay open for hours on holidays take away good times from their employees' family time. Do the owners/managers have families? Do they stay home with family on these days? Do they work when the employees have to? Just wondering.
Seems it all is for the big money. The dollars count, not the family. Whatever happened to closed Sundays and holidays?
Sorry if you can't get your shopping done the day before or day after, then you're missing out on family times, or is the bargain worth it?
For me, I won't shop on these days at any store open. Seems like no one cares any more. No wonder we have too much trouble in this country. We've given up the good things spent with our kids, parents, aunts, and uncles.
Family time is needed more than you think.
