Shooting shows more gun control laws needed

In response to David Sheets' Jan. 17 letter titled, “Increased gun control is the wrong answer,” I couldn't disagree more.
In wake of the Tuscon tragedy, it is clear to me that more gun control is the answer. Maybe if the little girl were a daughter or relative of Mr. Sheets he would not be so blase about selling assault weapons to crazy people without checking their background.
These senseless killings only happen in the United States because other countries do have some gun control.
