Shey has quality votes and is a critical thinker

So Jerry McGrane is slamming Pat Shey because he missed a few brown bag luncheons.
For me, I am more interested in the quality of the votes than a person's attendance record. Shey is bringing in $25 million in direct investment into the Oak Hill Jackson neighborhood.
Shey voted for
$30 million in downtown construction projects; McGrane voted “no.” Shey voted to bring 500 jobs downtown; McGrane voted “no.” Shey consistently supported trails, sustainable design, quality of life. Shey owns two small businesses, is well educated, articulate, a critical thinker, a leader.
District 3 needs a guy like Pat Shey. I guess I would rather have someone who thinks rather than someone who just shows up.
