Sherman’s insights came from being inside the room

It was with sadness I read that Norman Sherman will no longer be writing his regular column. Many thanks to The Gazette for bringing to readers his unique perspective from actually being in the room and a witness to some of the most important events in the last 60 plus years. Sure, his view is that of a Democrat, but even my Republican friends acknowledge his writing style is second to none.
He has brought readers insights with humor and humility. Mr. Sherman, we thank you and hope readers will be treated to an occasional column in the future.
