Sevin-5 eliminates Japanese beetles

I didn't know what a Japanese beetle was until we moved to Iowa from Kansas five years ago.
I started out with the bag-a-bug and caught a ton of them and decided later that I was luring them in from all over the neighborhood and they were still eating my flowers.
I went through several kinds of bug spray to no avail. I even doubled the strength of the spray and they just crawled through it without missing a beat. The last thing that I tried was a dust called Sevin-5 and I haven't had a beetle since. I just wished I had used it sooner before they did so much damage to my flowers.
