Serving up a surprise anniversary gift

On Feb. 7, an angel was at Sub City restaurant in downtown Cedar Rapids. My husband and I went to have lunch. In conversation, we told the three people behind the counter that tomorrow would be our 48th anniversary. A lady sitting at a table heard us and paid our bill without us knowing it. When I got ready to pay, the cashier told me “happy anniversary.”
Later, I found out this lady's name is Lisa and she works across the street from Sub City. I would like to thank this angel again. What a wonderful surprise for our 48th anniversary.
