Seniors should push for Medicare in future
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 20, 2009 12:41 am
As an individual who will soon be on Medicare, I am befuddled and a little embarrassed by my fellow seniors' objections to health care reform. These objections often seem to be based on misinformation and fear. Every Medicare recipient I have encountered seems pleased with this government-run program and the services it offers.
Shouldn't we be advocating that our children and grandchildren have a similar program available to them if they need it?
