Security company needs to be fired

To the editor:
I am appalled to hear that the young man who allegedly did the shooting at the Coral Ridge Mall worked for the security company. Did they retain that company?
I have been in business for over 40 years and one of the first principles you learn is when an employee is released a red flag goes up not to allow that employee come back on the premises. Apparently, he was allowed to walk into the mall with a gun.
The security company needs to be fired immediately. Until I hear they have been fired I will not shop there.
