Seating at outdoor tehater questionable

To the editor:
After reading the article by Carly Weber on the Chicago concert on May 21, I felt the need to respond ('Chicago remains hard habit to break,” May 23).
First of all, Chicago was excellent. But the reserved seating is more than a bit questionable. If you were seated in section A or E in the orchestra section, you paid for an obstructed view, or no view at all. If Weber saw many empty seats and a lot of people milling around, it may have been because people in those empty seats wanted to watch the concert and not just listen.
Hopefully, the management of the rest of the events at the McGrath Amphitheatre will have learned a lesson on premium seating. If you have paid for a seat, please make sure that the seat you were sold is worth the money that was paid for it.
