Schulte will be good for business in Iowa

Iowa is losing a congressional district in 2012. The reason? Slow or no population growth. Seventy percent of our young adults leave Iowa looking for employment elsewhere. Many Iowa rural counties have fewer people now than in 1900. Iowa commercial property tax and corporate income tax rates are some of the highest in the nation.
Locally, Sealed Air, Midland Forge and Terex are closed, with hundreds of jobs gone. News reports of existing business expanding or new business coming to the area have been replaced with stories of federal grant money, hot off the deficit printing press.
For the last two years, Renee Schulte in Iowa House District 37 has been working to turn the Iowa economy around. We need Renee in Des Moines because she will work to help create a strong business climate that will attract new business to Iowa and give existing businesses a reason to stay and expand here.
