Schools need more help, but AEA changes mean less

Recently, data from the state suggests that Cedar Rapids students are falling behind their peers across the state in all major subjects, like math, science and language arts. I have learning challenges and currently require support from the Grant Wood Area Education Agency.
I'm worried about changes made into law last year in our Statehouse that change the role of AEAs. I'm hopeful that kids like me get the support they need in our state but I'm worried that AEA changes will negatively impact students like me.
