Santorum should just follow his own advice

I agree with Rick Santorum. Sometimes we all just “have to make the best out of a bad situation.” Of course, there is a catch. Santorum applied that analysis to justify prohibiting abortion, even in cases of rape.I could not disagree more. However, in a broader sense, and particularly with regard to abortion, Santorum's logic is inescapable.
Allowing abortion is clearly a “bad situation.” Applying Santorum's own logic to that “bad situation” means that we all just have to “make the best of it.” Santorum believes that abortion should not be allowed, even in cases of rape, because God must have wanted the rape victim to be impregnated. Of course, if the rape victim has an abortion, then God must also have wanted that pregnancy to end. So, the fact that women may choose to end unwanted pregnancies must be part of God's plan, or it would not be happening. Santorum should just follow his own advice and make the best of that bad situation.
